KILBARCHAN GENERAL SOCIETY

Helping the local community since 1765

Charity Begins at Home

Assisting the local community for over 250 years.

Renovation and restoration

We have over the last few years been restoring the Old Village Fire Engine. The wheels have been rebuilt and the woodwork and paintwork restored. The Fire Pump will be stored in the Donald Malcolm Heritage Centre for which we are very grateful.

How We Support

The Society has for years contributed to the funding of local people and groups but has moved toward a Partnership model for supporting larger organisations whereby we sponsor events, providing seed money to help with fund raising.

Upcoming Events

Elton Joel on 22nd March

A Murder mystery evening on the 14th of June.

Sportsman’s Dinner on 11th October

Whisky/Gin tasting 29th November
